Tetsu by Rescyou Tetsu by Rescyou
This piece is my 3rd ring sculpture. It was constructed with various gauge brass and copper rings, mainly 16 and 14ga. It is made with a chainmaille weave called "captive inverted round". Name comes from Japanese term for Caltrop, "Tetsu-Bishi". Roughly 14"x14"x14", penny added for scale.

This one is absolutely solid feeling, most are but there are some that are a little squishy :)

Are these pretty stiff when you are finished? They don't look flimsy at all- just curious
