Globe of Circles by Rescyou Globe of Circles by Rescyou
This piece is my 7th ring sculpture. It was constructed with various gauge brass and copper rings and some structural copper spars. All elements are handmade from standard wire stock and are hand polished without the use of any powertools. The piece is roughly 12" x 12"

I haven't really seen chainmalle sculptures before. This gallery is full of them. If you think this is easy to do, imagine having to position and close every tiny ring! Go appreciate! Globe of Circles by ~Rescyou ( Featured by ohnojaylo )

I'm thinking the image doesn't really show how intricate this object is... might be good to find another angle and include a few shades dropping on a backdrop to get another perspective, possibly a deeper one into this... looks groovy, btw.

I can tell that you love what you do :)

That's just amazing chain work. I have never seen anything like that. :)

It looks like some kind of three dimensional fractal or beveled gemstone etc.

Bloody gorgeous. The fused rings add a clever touch you don't get with plain old chainmaille and the whole piece conveys an intricate interconnection like clockwork. This should be in a museum, if it isn't already ^.^

This is really a stunning metal work!
Your handmade procedure is such an admirable endeavor.
I'm also working on connecting metal wire together without soldering, all handmade as well.
